. God gives him so many songs and many times I just inspire him to write with lines I come up with. He takes off like a rocket and a song comes alive. Truly Bruce is a great writer and so much more, I really admire his gifts and calling. My youngest son Joshua is just simply amazing in his abilities and I am in awe of my family. God has been so good to us. Now don't get me wrong, we have seen our share of tribulations in life in which many of our songs came from. Victory
When you are facing tribulations in life it feels like your world is going to come to an end. Feelings come and go like the wind. That is why God wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. You can get through each storm that comes your way, just maybe not in your timing. The real question is are you going to walk alone or trust God and walk with him through the storm? When the storms do come you won't be swept away by them if you build your foundation on the rock of Christ. Sometimes it feels more like a hurricane in life but even in the hurricanes of life Jesus gives a peace that can't be found in the world. Jesus said, "In this world you Will HAVE TRIBULATION but be of good cheer I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD." In Jesus we have victory no matter what we are feeling. He always brings us through the hardest times. He carries us. When I hit the bottom in my own life, It was only the grace of God that pulled me out of the storm and set my feet on the rock, which is Christ. So the real victory in life comes from knowing Jesus Christ and having a personal realtionship with him. He works everything out for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. Right now you may be facing some of the hardest times in your life and not see a way out. Just remember God is working on your behalf and will help you but first you must walk by faith and not fear as the world does who have no hope. God is a reality and shows it to those who trust in him. The proof God has shown in His creation should be enough but for people who walk by unbelief, there is nothing you can show them because they are walking by sight and not faith. It is impossible to please God without faith so believe God today and His holy word, the bible. God is not like a man that he should lie. When God speaks He only tells the truth. Jesus said, " I am the way the truth and the life." Faith comes by hearing the word of God so if you haven't read the bible lately take time to see what God has to say to you today and then your faith will grow. Remember; in Christ we already have the victory in life. Will You have tribulations and hard times? YES! Will you be perseucuted and hated for his name sake? YES. Paul said at the end of his life, "I have kept the faith." So don't lose heart no matter what you are going through. Keep the faith and see victory in your life today.
